Description: A new women of the 1920’s was called a flapper. Flappers were women that did everything society didn’t think they would do and they were easily recognisable by their bobbed hair, short skirts and dresses, they also wore heaps of bright makeup, high heels, smoking and they spoke their own language. Majority of flappers were young women because older women had been raised in a different era so they were raised to wear particular clothing and too not work certain jobs. Flappers were commonly seen at parties with short skirts so that it was easier dance. Flappers finished on October the 29th,1929 because the stock market begun to fall out the great depression started. |
