GUSTAV STRESEMANN
WHO/ ​Gustav Stresemann, a German statesman who served as Chancellor in 1923 and Foreign Minister from 1923 to 1929, during the Weimar Republic. Stresemann assisted Germany during challenging times and helped them rebuild relations with the Western World.

WHERE/ Born and died in Berlin, Germany. following a stroke.
INTERESTING FACT/ Stresemann
 was a co-laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1926, following his efforts with stabilising the German economy.

OTTO WELS
WHO/ ​Otto Wels, the chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) from 1919 and a member of parliament from 1920 to 1933.
WHEN/ September 15, 1873 - September 16, 1939
WHERE/ Born in Berlin, Germany, died in Paris, France, after he was exiled from Germany following his distaste towards Hitler's Nazi Party.
​INTERESTING FACT/ During the Nazi Party's rise to power in 1933, Wels was the only politician to speak out against the dangers Hitler's push for the signing of the Enabling Act (Article 48).
