TREATY OF VERSAILLES

Picture

Based on the restrictions outlined in the Treaty of Versailles, we are able to categorise them into the following four headings:

Restrictions placed upon Germany:
  1. Reparations
Referring to the debt owed to Allied Nations after Germany was deemed responsible for the Great War.
  2. Territory
Referring to the territory removed from Germany.
  3. Military
Referring to the restrictions placed upon Germany's military forces.
  4. Mandates/Colonies
Referring to the colonies stripped of Germany and given to Allied Nations as mandates.

Description:

To further our understanding of the Treaty of Versailles, we are to research the restrictions based on four categories.
Inquiry Questions:
  • Choose one of the four categories, and using the content of the Treaty of Versailles, and the internet, compile the restrictions that are covered by that heading.
